Nestle India CFO Appointment: Edouard Mac Nab Named Executive Director, Finance and Control

The Nestle India CFO appointment marks a significant leadership transition as the company announced the appointment of Edouard Mac Nab as Executive Director, Finance and Control, and Chief Financial Officer, effective March 1. Mac Nab will succeed Svetlana Boldina, who will step down from her role on January 31 to take on a new position within a Nestlé affiliate.
According to a regulatory filing submitted to the Bombay Stock Exchange, the proposal for Mac Nab’s appointment will be reviewed by the Nomination and Remuneration Committee before being placed before the Audit Committee and the Board of Directors at their forthcoming meetings. The structured approval process underscores the company’s emphasis on governance and transparency during key leadership changes.
The Nestle India CFO appointment comes at a time when global food and nutrition companies are reinforcing financial leadership to support digital transformation, sustainability goals, and long-term growth strategies in emerging markets such as India.
Currently, Mac Nab serves as Head of Finance and Control at Nestlé Canada, where he has played a pivotal role in improving profitability and reshaping the finance function to align with Nestlé’s digital priorities. His work in the Canadian market focused on driving operational efficiencies, strengthening financial discipline, and supporting technology-led transformation initiatives.

Mac Nab had top finance leadership positions at multinational corporations such as Reckitt, Mead Johnson Nutrition, and Bristol-Myers Squibb before to joining Nestlé. His varied background has given him a wealth of experience in highly competitive and regulated industries, strengthening his qualifications for the CFO position at Nestle India.
Having worked in Asia, North America, Latin America, and Europe, Mac Nab has over 25 years of expertise in international finance and corporate leadership. Nestlé emphasized his proven ability to oversee large-scale transformation projects, long-term financial planning, and business recovery activities. The business also highlighted his proficiency in digital finance procedures and sustainability-driven financial frameworks, two areas that are becoming increasingly significant to global firms.
Prior to taking on his present position in Canada, Mac Nab began working as Chief Financial Officer at Nestlé France in February 2022. His move to India indicates that Nestlé intends to improve strategy execution and financial governance in one of its key growth markets. It is anticipated that Nestle India’s next stage of operational growth and business planning will be aided by the hiring of a CFO.
Svetlana Boldina, the departing CFO, oversaw the finance department during a time when the packaged food industry in India saw category expansion and changing market conditions. During her tenure, supply chain issues, shifting consumer preferences, and heightened competition were all present. Although the specifics of her next position have not been made public, Nestlé has stated that Boldina will remain in the larger Nestlé Group as part of its global leadership rotation program.
According to Nestlé India, the leadership changeover would be finished prior to the start of the upcoming fiscal year, guaranteeing continuity in strategic planning and financial supervision. The company stated that these leadership changes support the development of cross-market skills and the alignment of regional operations with Nestlé’s long-term global goals.
India remains a key market for Nestlé India, supported by rising consumer demand, category diversification, and sustained investments in manufacturing and supply chain infrastructure. With the Nestle India CFO appointment, the company aims to further reinforce its finance leadership as it prepares to navigate evolving market conditions and drive sustainable growth in the years ahead.
